Elizabeth A. Corley

Assistant Professor, School of Public Affairs

 

Elizabeth A. Corley is Assistant Professor in the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University.  Elizabeth’s research interests focus on environmental policy and science policy.  Within the field of environmental policy, Elizabeth studies environmental values, public participation in environmental decision-making, and natural resource policy.  In the area of science policy, Elizabeth studies scientific collaboration, the social impacts of science policy, and the evaluation of science and engineering research centers. 

 

Elizabeth’s published research has appeared in book chapters and peer-reviewed journals, including Policy Studies, Research Policy, Journal of Agricultural & Environmental Ethics, Environmental Science & Technology, and Evaluation Review.  She is currently working with Professor Barry Bozeman (Georgia Tech) on a book manuscript that will present innovative techniques for evaluating federally-funded science and engineering centers. 

 

Elizabeth received three engineering degrees and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Before joining ASU, she held teaching and research positions at Georgia Tech, Bucknell University, and Columbia University.
