Megan O'Shea
Research Assistant
Megan is pursuing a Master of
Science degree in Geological Sciences through CSPO and the School of
Earth and Space Exploration (SESE) at ASU. In 2005, she earned a B.A.
with honors from Lawrence University, majoring in Geology and
Environmental Studies and minoring in Anthropology. At CSPO she is
currently working as part of CSPO's SPARC (Science, Policy, Assessment,
and Research on Climate) team. Megan's thesis will examine the role of
science in formulating Arizona's water policy and also will analyze the
formulation and implementation of Arizona's water agenda.
More informally, Megan is also interested in women's involvement in the
scientific community and environmental health issues in Africa.
