Zach Pirtle
Research Intern,
Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes
Zach is a first year MS student in civil and environmental engineering,
working with the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes at Arizona
State University. From ASU, he recently received a BS in mechanical
engineering and a BA in philosophy at ASU. As an undergraduate, Zach
worked with the Center for Nanotechnology in Society at ASU, the Center
for Biology and Socety, and interned with the stress engineering group
at Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe. Zach's current interests focus on
conceptual independence and agreement claims between models in
engineering and climate science, and he intends to complete a PhD in
philosophy of science after his current program. |
