Taylor Jackson

Research Intern

 

Taylor Jackson is in his fifth and final year of a joint bachelor’s and master’s program in biology and society at Arizona State University.  Taylor’s work has explored issues related to science, equity, and the public interest, especially in regard to the use of science in international development.  Taylor has undertaken field research in political ecology in Malaysian Borneo and Honduras and evaluated research policy within Research Value Mapping lab. Additionally, he has studied religious elements of environmental movements as a fellow for the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict, and considered the history of nanotechnology through the Center for Nanotechnology and Society.  Currently, Taylor is studying the use of science and local knowledges in policy-making in the Global Environmental Facility as a research assistant for the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes.
