COURSE CONTENT:

This course explores values that motivate humankind to create technology and areas of conflict and resolution of conflict between values and technology. Topics in Spring 2007 include will include: 1) technology and the military, 2) technology as system, and 3) the role of corporate/academic interactions in the development of biotechnology.
