Michael Burnam-Fink is a graduate student in the Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology program at Arizona State University. Michael has been a CSPO intern in Washington, D.C., and served as the science intern for Senator Dianne Feinstein in the summer of 2008. He completed his bachelor's degree in Science, Technology and Society at Vassar College in 2010.

Michael is a member of CETMONS, the Consortium fo Emerging Technologies, Military Operations and National Security, and is working on the Future Veterans Project to help veterans and veterans advocacy groups to cope with the effects of advanced military technology. His other interests include the political implications of human enhancement for democratic governance, the technosocial aspects of asymmetrical warfare and use of science fiction to frame policy debates.
