Program Area: Responsible Innovation

How can we improve the decisions that individuals, organizations, and governments make throughout the process of knowledge-based innovation? Knowledge-based innovation – to fuel growing economies, improvements in health, environment and security, and explorations of the frontiers of knowledge – is a high priority for both public and private investment. Yet innovation challenges many of the same values it purports to advance.
