Comments Policy
Soapbox encourages lively discussion. Currently, comments are being monitored by CSPO, just to
avoid comments that are totally off point or that register just a little too high on the rant
amp meter. Comments will be approved and posted just as soon as possible after they arrive,
we promise. We welcome creativity, curiosity, generosity, breadth, depth, humor, and gravity.
Formality is not important. Civility is essential. Criticism of ideas is welcome. Personal
attacks are not. Puns are fun. Foul language, not so much. If we feel tentative or squeamish
about your comment, we’ll send you an e-mail and give you an opportunity to massage it.
That’s one reason we ask for your e-mail address. Rest assured, your e-mail address will not be
added to any lists, shown publicly on Soapbox or shared with anyone.
